Meet Sophia —

Owner and instructor

Sophia began her movement journey as a professional ballet dancer, training with Boston Ballet and performing with Nashville Ballet, where she developed a strong foundation in alignment, discipline, and body awareness. Initially turning to yoga for cross-training and injury prevention, she found a deeper passion for the practice, especially during her mother’s battle with cancer, when yoga became a source of strength and peace.

Now a 200-hour certified teacher, Sophia leads Vinyasa Power Flow, Restorative Flow, Zen Strength (Vinyasa + HIIT), and Yoga Sculpt classes that are welcoming, energetic, and focused on building strength, balance, and connection—on and off the mat.

MEET THE TEAM

CHERYL

MANICIN

Yoga Instructor

Yoga is more than movement to Cheryl — it is a lifelong practice of transformation, connection, and coming home to oneself. Her passion for teaching comes from creating a welcoming community where students can experience the connection between mind and body through breath, movement, music, and presence. What began as a physical practice quickly evolved into a journey of self-discovery, freedom, and authenticity, inspiring Cheryl to live with greater intention both on and off the mat. As both a student and teacher, she is committed to continual growth and creating classes that feel supportive, challenging, and inspiring. With music at the heart of her teaching, Cheryl’s thoughtfully curated classes are designed to help students build strength, mindfulness, healing, and connection through every practice.

ABBY

She teaches heated 45-minute Sculpt Express classes designed to energize the body and clear the mind. Her classes are high-energy, music-driven, and full of good vibes, blending strength, cardio, and a little extra fire. Abby creates an encouraging environment where clients can push their limits while still having fun. Whether you’re a morning regular or just getting started, she’s there to help you feel strong, confident, and ready for anything. Expect to sweat, smile, and leave feeling accomplished.

EMILY

CARPENTER

Yoga Instructor

Emily is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher who is continuing to deepen her education and love for the practice. She enjoys teaching power flows set to fun, energizing playlists, creating classes that feel both challenging and approachable. Yoga has been a continual teacher for Emily, showing her something new each time she steps onto her mat. In her classes, the most important part is simply showing up—connecting movement with breath, honoring moments of stillness, and creating space for students to explore a deeper understanding of themselves. Emily is honored to guide others as they discover their own unique path on the mat.

MEL

CHAMPNESS

Yoga Instructor

Mel Champness is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher passionate about guiding students toward strength, balance, and inner peace through intentional movement, breathwork, and mindfulness. Her classes blend mobility, meditation, and safe alignment, creating an inclusive space that supports both physical and mental well-being. Inspired by nature and lifelong learning, Mel encourages students to move with purpose on and off the mat. When not teaching, she enjoys skiing, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family and their dog, Fin.

LEAH

CROTEAU

Yoga Instructor

With fear in one hand and courage in the other, she left an eight-year career in software sales to pursue a deeper calling rooted in meaning and purpose. Without a clear direction, she turned to a consistent power yoga practice, which quickly quieted her mind and created space for her heart to lead. Guided by faith, she returned to her New England roots and, with an open mind, enrolled in a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with David Vendetti of South Boston Yoga. What began as a personal journey to deepen her practice unexpectedly evolved into a full-time teaching path as opportunities naturally unfolded. Committed to growth, she went on to complete a 500-hour advanced training under master teachers Rolf Gates and Jacqui Bonwell, and continues to expand her mental and physical resilience. Her teaching is deeply influenced by her mentors, her family, and the profound lessons from her Siberian husky, Uluru. She creates classes that challenge students from the outside in, offering a space to quiet the mind, soften resistance, and reconnect with their inner truth—guiding them toward greater freedom and happiness.

MAEGHAN

SWEENEY

Yoga Instructor

Maeghan believes yoga should feel like play. For her, it’s a chance to move to good music, chase big beats, and explore the edges of body and mind. Yoga is a core part of her life — a space to get curious, get strong, get bendy, and sometimes get a little weird (IYKYK). Her classes are often spicy, challenging, and rhythm-driven, always offering permission to explore and trust your own experience.

Outside the studio, Maeghan loves reading, baking, floral design, and spending time with the people she loves. She currently teaches 6th grade ELA and has worked with students from 6th through 12th grade. She has also served as a yoga teacher for staff, elementary, and high school students in a large school district.

In 2019, Maeghan completed her 200-hour YTT with Breathe For Change, an organization dedicated to social-emotional learning for students and self-care for educators. She also teaches children’s yoga, yin, & yoga nidra. She is passionate about making mindful movement accessible to all ages.

Outside the studio, she enjoys beach days and time with her two dogs, Buddy and Snookie.

KEIKO

MCCARRON

Yoga Instructor

Keiko found her passion for performance, movement, and community when she joined her high school color guard. She progressed and went on to tour with independent organizations, where her many instructors over the years demanded endurance, technique, uniformity, and commitment to excellence. Her movement background led her to discovering the practice of yoga, and she found balance and a container to support her nervous system in restorative yoga. As a reiki practitioner and yoga teacher, she is dedicated to wellness of mind, body, and spirit. Keiko is devoted to living a soft life and creating a space for others to find their softness in gentle movement and sacred stillness.

RACHEL

DE MOLINA

Yoga Instructor

Rachel’s relationship to movement began early through classical dance training. It was through dance that she first discovered yoga, but it wasn’t until later that her practice deepened, becoming a spiritual anchor and a meaningful way of relating to herself and the world. Now a 500-hour certified teacher, Rachel draws from her training in breathwork, meditation, yin and restorative yoga, Bhakti, and sound healing, as well as her career as a psychotherapist. Rachel’s classes reflect an integration of her background, as well as her belief in the importance of living the practice of yoga, on and off the mat. Her classes weave together intentional playlists, thoughtful themes, and fluid sequencing offering a balance of challenge and deep nourishment.

Her classes focus on merging intentional breath with powerful movement to create a nourishing experience for the mind, body, and soul. Off the mat, Tracy remains an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her husband, John, her friends, and her family. She is also a devoted dog mom to Rosco and Freya.

DAWN

FERRAIRO

Dawn’s yoga journey began over two decades ago, evolving from a simple physical practice into a profound way of living, breathing, and connecting with others. Throughout the years, yoga has guided her through life’s many seasons, continually reminding her of the importance of patience, understanding, and compassion. When she is not guiding students through their practice, Dawn’s greatest joy is spending time with family and friends, whose love and support inspire everything she does. Her intention is to create a space where students feel safe, grounded, and connected as they breathe, flow, and move together on the mat.
